OSHA Training and Regulatory Resources for Massachusetts

The State of Massachusetts requires all workers at construction sites state wide to have OSHA-Accepted training. The Executive Office of Labor Workforce and Development (EOLWD) is the authority for Labor Standards, Unemployment Insurance, Workplace Safety and Worker’s Compensation for the State At the request of any employee, union or governmental agency, the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety is responsible for conducting free investigations of workplace health hazards.

All employees employed at construction work site in the State of Massachusetts need to complete the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training Course before beginning work at the work site. Any employee found on a work site subject to this section without documentation of successful completion of the OSHA 10 Hour course is subject to immediate removal.
