Online Hazwoper Training Courses
The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) applies to workers who are involved in clean-up operations, operations involving hazardous wastes at treatment, storage, and disposal facilities, and emergency response operations. Any employees who may potentially be exposed to hazardous substances including medical personnel who treat contaminated patients would need this training.
The 24 hour HAZWOPER training is required for employees visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the Government. The 40 Hour HAZWOPER Training is a more detailed course which also requires additional on site training that is provided by their employer. There is also the online 8 Hour HAZWOPER First Responder Course which covers hazard recognition at work sites. The fourth course offered is the Online 8 Hour HAZWOPER Annual Refresher Course which meets the requirements in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.
